For the Season 2 finale of The Women’s Current, Sylvia Beckerman and Molly Wadzeck turn the microphones toward themselves for a conversation about what they’ve learned from their guests, from each other, and from the lives they’re living while these conversations unfold.
Together they reflect on identity, motherhood, visibility, autonomy, aging, community, assumptions, and the importance of staying curious.
Along the way, they explore what it means to keep editing old stories, challenging expectations, and becoming more fully ourselves.
The inspiration for the episode came from an unexpected source: Sylvia’s four-year-old grandson Bryson, who one day announced,
“I’m still learning.”
Aren’t we all?

At thirty-nine.
At seventy-four.
Because perhaps the point isn’t that we ever arrive.
Perhaps the point is that we’re all still learning.
